Vitabase Get’s Mommy Revenue’s Seal of Approval and Here’s 10 Reasons Why!
If you’re in the ever-so-popular health niche, then you will want to check out Vitabase. The reason they have won my stamp of approval on “Top Affiliate Programs” is that they care about their affiliates.
1. They offer a great commission.
At 25% commission who could complain? They offer 25% commission on all their own products and 10% on all other brands. They do promote their own products first, so no need to worry that you’ll end up with more 10% commissions than 25%.
2. You earn 25% commission every time your customers order through you!
What a great way to build residual income! When their vitamins are gone your customers will want more right? Vitabase stood up to the plate and readjusted their affiliate program so that their affiliates could earn 25% commission every time they order through them — not just the first order. Many affiliate programs lack in this area.
3. They offer a dropship program.
If you’re worried about lost sales or just want more control on building your online business, then dropshipping might be perfect for you. Just be aware you’ll have to be a bit more involved than with the more simple affiliate program.
4. They offer incentives
In the real work world, businesses motivate their employees by offering incentives. Vitabase hasn’t forgotten to motivate their affiliates as well. I’ve earned a few extra dollars just for adding their link on my page at HealthyHomeGuide.com.
5. They offer a tool to build customized links.
This is a really great asset! You can’t get any better than this with an affiliate program. If you’re writing a post about “children’s health” then you would do better promoting a link directly to their children health products or even better — one specific product such as “children’s multivitamins” rather than just sending your visitors to their home page. This will definitely help with higher conversion rates. (Hint: This means more sales and money for you!)
6. They have an affiliate program director.
What’s so great about that? Too many companies are simply posting up an affiliate program and letting their affiliates defend for themselves. I emailed the director, Kenneth Davis, and he responded in a very short time. He was polite and very helpful…and, I’m brand new as far as getting involved in their affiliate program.
7. They don’t have ads plastered all over their site.
My number one pet peeve for affiliate programs are ones that plaster Google ads and other banner ads all over their site. Who wants to send visitors to another site so that they can get credit for Google adsense or other affiliate programs that you don’t even belong to.
8. Their prices are reasonable.
Some merchants hike up the price super high so that they can earn a high profit and still pay their affiliates too. You have to be sensible, though. You need an affiliate program with a merchant who has reasonable prices. Your potential customers are going to look else where if the prices are outrageous.
9. They offer incentives for customers.
How many sites have you seen that offer an incentive for only first time customers? Not Vitabase. They offer “VitaRewards” where customers earn points for their purchases and redeems these points for credit on some more products. They also offer “Today’s Deal” to keep customers coming back for another visit. Another great tool to help you generate more sales, indeed! A couple of other ways they entice returning visitors and customers is their $5 dollar deal and Health Tools.
10. Their Affiliate Program is FREE.
Yes, most affiliate programs are free, but often to start your own health business online with a direct sales company you would probably have to invest in a starter kit or some type of fee to become a consultant. So, if you can at least start a blog and chat about health, you have great opportunity to start your own affiliate business at home.
Any downside at Vitabase?
I guess my one regret would be that there is no second tier program. Some affiliate programs offer around 5-10% commission by referring other affiliates. You won’t find that at Vitabase, nevertheless, I’m surely giving them my stamp of approval for “Top Affiliate Programs” online.
