I look at Google adsense as a means of generating extra income...but affiliate marketing gives you even greater control over your niche sites because you can choose specific products that you would like to promote.  

You often lack control over what ads will appear with Google adsense, and you do not earn a commission on the sales generated from those ads. Affiliate marketing takes it to the next level and allows you to sell products for commission...and then turn the customers over to the care of the merchant site.  You pocket the money and don&#039;t have to worry about providing customer support, etc.  Sounds like a lazy way of business...yet perfect for those who would rather concentrate on &quot;marketing&quot; side of business.</description>
