How to Create Loyal Customers that Will Buy from You Again and Again
To maintain a thriving online business it is really important that you keep your customers happy so that they will remain loyal to your business and hopefully bring you more business, right?
Sadly, business owners often overlook this simple concept when they are building an internet company, specifically internet marketing brand loyalty.
I define internet marketing brand loyalty as the ability of an internet marketer to retain customers over a period of several months and to receive referrals from those customers.
Why is internet marketing brand loyalty so important though? Can’t you just find more people to buy your products instead of trying to retain them?
Of course you can, but it costs more money. It takes money and time to find new customers. So why not instead work on retaining the ones you have already?
Hot Tip! The best way to retain customers is to create more value for your products and services.
Here’s 3 Easy Tips to Create More Value for Your Customers…
Offer exclusive content: If you’re selling a product or ebook give them access to a forum and a bunch of videos only available in your membership section. Give your readers a reason to stick around, not just through your mailing list, but other areas as well. No one likes to feel marketed to, so by creating value you can also create market for your future products.
Provide incentives: Provide them with a reason to stick around, whether it be money-making opportunities, free content, or support (such as free email questions, etc). Providing an affiliate program can also help your customers to stick around. If they have a potential to make some money from your great product, why wouldn’t they stick around?
Maintaining a community: A blog has also become a great business tool for many online businesses because it allows their blog visitors to make comments and business owners can interact with them by responding to their comments.
A forum is another option. Before starting a forum, one must consider the time and commitment that it will require to maintain. Someone must be available to moderate posts, etc.
There are also some other simple ways to create a community connection such as participating on twitter and creating a facebook page for your business.
Whatever means you choose to create an online community to connect with your customers or prospects, you should remain engaged with your audience on a regular basis or else you will lose them very quickly. Simply offer them valuable tips or create some contests and giveaways. Engage them in occasional surveys that will help you provide better products or services to your customers. Customer feedback can be a very valuable tool to help make your business even better.
Over all, keeping your customers coming back should be one of the most important parts of your business strategies. Repeat business is the cheapest business, and building a solid brand with brand loyalty should be one of your biggest areas of focus.
Good quality content that engages your customers and brings value to their life or business will be the best start to your relationship with your customer. From that point you must build trust with them, provide them with good additional (free) content, and not solely market to them. Give them real value and in return they will purchase your future products or products you are promoting or they will refer their friends and customers back to you as well.

Nice post.
One I’d like to add is – respond to that community. I make an effort to respond to every single person that leaves a comment to my blog.
I appreciate every comment.
Cheers

Great tip, Noah! I’ve visited some communities online and it seems like you have to be pretty “important stuff” for the owner to comment back. People like to feel that you’re approachable and accessible to them.
